| By scheduling an appointment with Marpe Therapy you are agreeing to the policies outlined on this page. Please be sure that you have read and understand the policies outlined below. If you have any questions please contact us at heal@marpetherapy.com . 1. Consent Massage is not a substitute for medical attention. Any and all physical or mental ailments should be addressed by a medical professional. All medical issues must be listed on your intake form the day of your appointment. Any changes to your mental/physical health must be made known to your therapist immediately. 2. Cancellation We maintain a 24 hour cancellation policy. You must cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged for the missed appointment. Appointments made the day of the therapy cannot be cancelled and the full amount will be charged for any no-shows. 3. Time Break Down All appointments include time for dressing and time for the therapist to discuss your therapy or your intake form. A one hour session may include 5 minutes of dressing, 5 minutes of discussion and 50 minutes of body or energy work. 4. Travel Policy Additional charges may apply depending on the location of your therapy. 5.Lateness Time that a client is late comes out of the therapy time. For Example- If you are 10 minutes late, your therapy will be 10 minutes shorter. You will still be charged for the complete appointment time. If the therapist is late, the time will not come out of your therapy time. If the therapist is too late and the therapy needs to be rescheduled, we will gladly take 15% off the price of your next massage. (We will not discount the fee if lateness was caused by miscommunication, on-site security, lack of parking, etc.) 6. Treatment Any threatening or offensive behavior will be cause for immediate termination of your therapy. The client is liable for payment for the full price of the appointment. Any sexual or romantic remarks or advances, whether direct or implied, will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of your session.
